Learning at UWA

One school, one route, from age 3 to university

At United World Academy, learning follows a single, connected route: Cambridge Early Years, Cambridge Primary, Cambridge Lower Secondary, Cambridge IGCSE, and then the IB Diploma Programme — with Cambridge International AS and A Levels available as an alternative senior pathway. Students don't change schools or philosophies as they grow; they move through stages that are each built to prepare them for the next.

Every stage shares the same foundation: inquiry over memorisation, feedback that students act on, and a balance between academic rigour and the sport, creativity and responsibility that round out a UWA education.

Why the Cambridge Pathway

The Cambridge Pathway is used by schools in over 160 countries and gives UWA students an internationally benchmarked education at every stage, with clear checkpoints for progress and a curriculum built around understanding rather than recall. It is also what allows a smooth transition into IGCSE at Grade 9, and from there into the IB Diploma Programme or Cambridge AS and A Levels — the most widely recognised pre-university qualifications for competitive universities worldwide.
