Our Community
Integral to any good school is the relationship that exists between the various sections of the Community.
At United World Academy, we place extremely high importance on ensuring that communication between School, Student and Parents is of the highest calibre.
As long as channels of communication remain open and as long as all individuals are committed to honest and open dialogue, then there is every chance that issues can be resolved fruitfully.
There are many forms that this communication can take and importantly, it is always two-way, with Students, Parents and the School all open to engaging with the views and opinions of others.

Another way in which UWA promotes our ‘Partnership with Parents’ is through a series of interactive seminars and workshops that we conduct entitled Learning Tree. Sometimes these events are directed just towards parents, but on other occasions, they are an opportunity for parents to engage with their children within a workshop setting. The facilitator for these events might more normally be a member of the teaching staff, but it is equally possible that a workshop could be led by a parent with a particular expertise.
